We finally made it back to the zoo! Micah is such a big boy now, he rode the tortoise all by himself! We checked out the real tortoises too, and Micah watched them as they walked slowly by. We also checked out the birds and the reptile house. The zoo has a pretty impressive collection of animals! Of course, we had to check out the elephants again. I think next time we should go there first, because again, Micah was starting to get tired by the time we time we got to the elephants. He seemed to see them this time, but he was prone to distraction.
This time we also got to see the giraffes up close and personal! You can buy food to feed them and they come and eat it right out of your hand. Micah wanted to pet this one, but as soon the giraffe realized Micah didn't have any food, he moved away. It was pretty amazing to be so close though!
These tiger cubs were just babies when we first visited. They are growing as fast as Micah!
It was great adventure for our little explorer!!
