After EdVenture, we had some lunch, took a nap, and then it was off to the Easter Egg Hunt at church! Micah was much faster at collecting eggs this year - I barely got the chance to get some pictures! He also collected several more than last year. The empty eggs provided hours of entertainment for weeks to come!
Candy AND Cupcakes?! This Easter Egg Hunt is awesome!
Micah had a Veggie Tale themed Easter basket this year - with a bunny and some cars thrown in for good measure! He was excited to find his treats Easter morning!

This Veggie Tales book is actually a puzzle book with a different puzzle scene on each page. We weren't sure if he was quite ready yet for a multi-piece puzzle, so we didn't let him know that they were puzzles at the time. He discovered the puzzles while visiting the Springers in June, and very quickly mastered putting them together! He doesn't need any help at all - although sometimes he likes the company.
After church, we had the Springer and Wofford families as well as five other friends over for lunch! We all contributed to the meal and I got to use my china. It was a wonderful feast with good friends, celebrating the resurrection of our Savior!
