The next day we were supposed to leave for the Resident dinner at noon. It was really a lunch at the Outback, and they were opening just for us! We took these pictures that morning, but by the time we left, the roads were clear and the snow was already melting! The snow was all pretty much gone by that evening. Now that is my kind of snow - a beautiful winter wonderland that lasts just long enough for you to admire it, clears out and doesn't keep you from your plans or cause treacherous conditions the next day!
