On the first day of Spring, we wanted to treat our girls to our Rita's tradition. Rita's gives out free Italian water ice all day on the first day of Spring. We went after taking the girls to the School's first major theatrical production in a long time - The Matchmaker. Rita's is a new commodity in South Carolina - we had to drive half an hour to get there! The girls were tired and didn't know where we were going, but were pleasantly surprised by our destination and the free treat! It was a great end to the day. This will definitely become a house tradition - and next year we won't have to drive so far - a new Rita's is opening only 15 minutes away!
