The Saturday before Easter, our church had an Easter Egg Hunt for all the kids. Micah had a blast! He did really well with the concept of picking up eggs and putting them in his basket! Some of the other kids were a little too fast for him and would get to the egg he was going for right before he did, but that didn't bother him. He was finally distracted from picking up eggs when he got this one - it had money in it! He loved the sound that it made, so he didn't want to let it go...he just kept shaking it, that eventually it popped open and the coins went everywhere. We thought we had gotten them all back in the egg, but when we got home, Micah discovered two pennies at the bottom of his basket. We discovered that Micah knows exactly what coins are and what to do with them...upon finding the pennies, he went straight to his room to put them in his elephant bank! So now we don't have to worry that Micah will try to eat coins!

I found one!

Hmm...this one is interesting, it has a bunny on it.

I'm not so sure about this sand, but I must get that egg!

After the egg hunt, we stopped at the grocery store to get a few things for our Easter dinner the next day. Micah got to ride in the special race car cart! He loved it!

Daddy thought the cart was pretty cool too...although he didn't love posing for pictures in the grocery store!
