He is Risen! Easter Sunday was a very busy day for our family. It was so busy that we didn't get family pictures and Micah didn't get to enjoy his big chocolate bunny...we still haven't found a good time for that...maybe in July when we are back in Columbia. Back to Easter Sunday - we had to be at church pretty early that morning because Mommy & Daddy were singing with an ensemble during the service. We enjoyed the services - we sang in both - and then headed home to cook our part of Easter Dinner. We gave our neighbors their first "traditional" Easter Dinner experience! While we cooked, Micah napped. After dinner, Micah finally got his easter basket - minus the chocolate bunny - as well as a special Easter present, his very own car! The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe has been the #1 selling car for many years. Micah loves it! After playing with the kids and getting presents, it was time for another nap before our dear friends, the Hershmans, arrived for a quick visit. They were in the area - 3 1/2 hours away (which is a lot closer than they normally are!!) so they drove up for an overnight stay before having to catch a plane back home to Texas. Micah had a blast with Aunt Pamela & Uncle Jerry, and hopes he can see them again soon!

Micah discovered his Easter basket inside his new car.

Cool! A ducky dressed like a bunny!

Hey, how do I get out of this thing?

Mmmm....Cadbury Creme Eggs!

Happy Easter Everyone!!

That is such a cute Easter outfit for Micah. I bet he is having lots of fun driving the car.
