After saying goodbye to most of our girls, we headed home to Pennsylvania to spend Christmas with our family and friends. The trip home was NOT an enjoyable one - I was sick the whole 10+ hour trip! Andrew got sick that night, and Micah seemed to be suffering some of the effects as well. We were very thankful that our guests - our student, Susy and her sister Ana - did not get sick! We had a very busy schedule to keep up with while in PA, there were a lot of people to see and catch up with!

Saturday night was our Christmas gathering with my extended family. Micah had lots of fun with his Great Grandpa! It was also a nice time for us to catch up with my cousins and aunt and uncle, even though we were still on the mend.

Christmas morning Micah opened presents from Grandma & Poppop. He was a little slow unwrapping presents, but he soon caught on!

Christmas dinner was at Andrew's parents house. Micah greeted Pappy as soon as we arrived! The day was a welcome time of relaxation spent with our family after several days of being on the go. We were truly blessed to honor Christ's birth with our family around us. We missed them so much!

Micah and Kate played the roles of Santa & Mrs. Claus. Too Cute!!
Micah helped liberate Kate of her hood. Poor Kate was recovering from a cold, so she wasn't sure about all the excitement and attention!

Micah and Daddy got ready to hand out gifts. Micah was easily distracted though, so cousin Jude stepped in and did an excellent job!
