Toward the end of October, Micah started showing some interest in the potty! He was still a little young and we knew we were going to be doing a lot of traveling over the next few months, so we didn't want to formally start potty training, but we didn't want to discourage his interest either. When we got the potty, he avoided it for a while and we almost took it back because we thought he didn't like it. Then one day in November, he decided he wanted to use his potty after all!! He mostly uses the potty when either Mommy or Daddy have to go, or at bathtime. There was a week or two in December that he was using it twice a day!
Micah got some cool big boy underwear from Grandma & Poppop for Christmas. He loves them, although he is not quite ready for them yet. Using the potty got a little sporadic since the holidays, but he is is definitely still motivated for treats! Now that we are back to our routine, I need to figure out what my plan of attack is for official potty training!
