On June 21st, we publicly dedicated Micah to Lord with our home fellowship of believers, Calvary Church. This was definitely one of our highlights of our visit home. We were excited to share God's gift with our church family and enlist their support and prayers as we strive to raise Micah to know and follow Christ. We are thankful for all of our friends and family that joined us on this day!
We were one of five families dedicating their children to the Lord during the service. Pastor Dave Allen led us in making the commitment to raise our children in a way that is pleasing and glorifying to the Lord.
Pastor Allen then prayed our prayer for Micah:
God,
There is none like you! We thank you for the precious gift that you have entrusted to us in your perfect timing. Grant us wisdom in parenting Micah so that our family may honor you in all that we do. Help us to hold this gift with open hearts and hands to you.
