Rice Cereal and Rolling Over

Monday was a big day for Micah! He had his first taste of "solid food!" He got to try out his new high chair while he sampled rice cereal. Micah seemed to like it too! It may have been beginner's luck though, because yesterday's high chair session didn't go as well. Micah is definitely teething in full force now. No tooth sightings to report yet, but his gums are definitely sore and he has been a bit cranky because of it. Naps have been affected the past couple of days, but so far so good today!

Micah officially mastered rolling over on Monday as well. He had rolled over from his tummy to his back a couple of times, but on Monday he finally got the hang of it and can now roll over several times in a row. He also can roll over from his back to his stomach, but he doesn't do that as often because he prefers being on his back. In fact, now as soon as you put him down on his stomach, he rolls over onto his back! I guess he figures now that he has mastered rolling over, why should he stay on his tummy when he doesn't want to? We captured the event on video, check it out! As you can hear, this was mommy's first time recording video. She now knows how to work the camera!
