On our actual anniversary, our girls surprised us with a party! They decorated the house and got a cake and flowers. We had gone out for dinner and decided to rest a little bit before going back on duty and fell fast asleep! We were definitely surprised when we heard the knocking on our door! When we came out of our door, the girls had lined up on the stairs and each had a stem of roses which they handed to me while we walked down the stairs. They had a little area set up for us to sit, and we all enjoyed ice cream cake! For our house meeting that night, we were going to talk about the beginning of advent and the concept of love and how it relates to the Christmas story, so the celebration was was fitting. It was so sweet to see how our girls cared for us!

It looks like you had lots of fun for you anniversary. I hope oyu had a good time visiting everyone at Christmas. I look forward to seeing pictures and reading about it soon.
